If you are moving to Kettering and are looking for a local church then please do contact us. It would be great if you could come along one Sunday morning and see what we are about for yourselves. If you decide Open Door Church is not the place for you we can recommend other local Churches and give contact details for them.If you are moving to Open Door from another Church we would want that process to be done in a way that is honouring to both Churches.
If you've visited our church recently, we really hope you enjoyed it - we love having visitors as it's always great to meet new people. If you've been coming for a few weeks now and you're interested in finding out a bit more about us as a church then we're very happy to answer your questions! We hope that you'll find out more about who we are and what we do just by being with us on Sunday. Otherwise, this website is a good place to begin and any of our leadership team would be more than happy to hear from you.
Next Steps
Periodically, we run something called a Meet Open Door Tea. It’s a chance for you to chat over coffee with one of the eldership team and other people who are new to the church where you can find out a bit more about what we believe and ask any questions you may have.
If you decide you want to make Open Door your home, we’ll invite you to a membership course where you will learn about church membership, belonging to the family and the nitty-grittys of being a part of Open Door.
Alpha
If you’re not a Christian, or are very new to Christianity, then we run regular Alpha courses for people exactly like you! It’s a chance to explore all the essential aspects of the Christian faith and discuss them as part of a group. It’s a place to get answers to any questions you might have, and as well as learning about Christianity, every week those on Alpha share a meal together to help everyone get to know each other and build relationships.
