STORY SO FAR

Open Door Church started in 1993 as an Anglican Church plant from its parent church, St Botolph’s. In 1999, Open Door church became independent. Following several challenging years Open Door Church re-launched as a church plant belonging to the Newfrontiers family of churches in 2002. 

Adrian Horner and his family moved to Kettering in 2003. As leader Adrian started working part time for the church from September 2004. becoming full time leader in July 2006. Adrian was joined in leadership by Chris Brown in 2006. Chris and his wife Sue have planted and led several Newfrontiers Churches over their ministry. Adrian and Chris Brown became elders in January 2009.

As far as venue, in April 2005 we moved to Isebrook School as a response to move nearer to the centre of Kettering in order to make ourselves known.

The church continues to grow steadily through new Christians, people moving into the area and occasionally Christians joining us from other churches in town.
